I love Cheese and Nuts - but the fat doesn't love my thighs! To keep from cutting out these favorite foods - I discovered I could get just as much flavor from 1 Tablespoon sprinkled over a single serving as adding in 1/2 - 1 cup to a recipe!! Yummy!
Finely shredded cheese and finely chopped nuts spreads the flavor out even more!
By grating your own cheese...you save money. By grating your own cheese into a finely shredded cheese you in fact get way more bang for your buck...spread 1/4 cup finely shredded on your next salad and enjoy! 4
I've done a couple things that have really helped me. I have made my own breakfast sandwiches using slender rounds, egg whites, a tsp of shredded cheese and 1 shredded 60% less fat turkey sausage. I have also shredded all beef hotdogs [extra lean] into brown rice and a scrambled egg white. YUM!
