Please do some research (online) on the effect heating has on flaxseed oil. I've used it for years & ONLY in cold dishes (smoothies, as a salad dressing). Flaxseed oil is expensive & I hate to see you waste your hard-earned money ESPECIALLY since you're being so diligent in being healthful & could actually being achieving the opposite. Sorry to be a Negative Nelly, but sincerely hope this helps. emoticon - by 1KELLIJ
  • If you grind the flaxseed it can be used in a lot of recipes. I even put it over my cold cereal and in yogurt and most anything as I needed to increase my fiber.(I use a small coffee grinder) - by IAMBJL
