If your sugar is high & the glucose is not able to get into your system, then your body thinks that is time to eat again. If you keep you carb intake low it should solve your hunger pains.Carbs will make you hungry quickly due to the insulin swing they cause. If you feel hungry, try a little protein and fat. Remember good fats are not the enemy. Stay away from Staurated fats and baked goods with hydrogenated oil or margarine, fried foods like French fries, chicken wings, chicken nuggets
