I am always hungry because I am used to overeating. When I was doing Jenny Craig my consultant asked what would happen if I was hungry. She reminded me that I am not starving to death, and I will still be able to eat my next snack or meal. Being hungry won't kill me, or even cause any long term problems. It's okay if I'm hungry sometimes, meeting my goal is more important!
Still in the phase where your always hungry? Try filling up on low-cal foods and water before you eat. I often eat a cup of watermelon slices and a glass of water before a meal to help make me fuller faster.
Eating lots of fruits and veggies has helped me control my appetite. Before, I rarely ate any freggies and I was always hungry. Now I eat lots of freggies and fill up more easily. It's also helped me learn the difference between "full" and "bloated."
