Don'T Obsess About Numbers!




Obsessing over amount lost in a week, or and ideal weight goal can drive you nuts. I focus on the goals that matter like consistent healthy eating, and tracking other measurements. Especially for woman as we go through our cycle our body weight/water weight can fluctuate. But focusing on how you feel and how much more you can do and your energy level are great ways that your body gives you feedback that you are doing a good job! emoticon

Don't weight yourself more than once a week and keep consistent with the day of the week and time of day. Also track your clothing size, and inches on your waist, chest, thighs, hips, and arms.

  • Great advice! I have fallen into the same trap of defining my success by the numbers on the scale. It is frustrating when you are doing everything right and still see the numbers jump up during certain times of the month. Actually, I've even blogged about this in the past. Now I just avoid the scale altogether during that week. Thanks for sharing!
