I have found that drinking Green Tea is helping - I have 3 - 6 cups a day along with at least 8 - 10 pints of water. Green Tea is proven to aid with weight loss as well as having other health benefits - also the caffeine found in Green tea is dramatically lower than black tea & coffee which of course means less caffeine happier body!! I learned this trick from a tea book. When you are craving something sweet add a a couple of chocolate chips or a tiny piece of caramel in a cup of tea. This can help curb the cravings. Plus you get the health benefits of green tea, if you are not a green tea fan you can mix it with a fruit tea.
