Buy a scale that displays your weight in digital numbers, this way you can see even the littlest progress, whether it's four tenths of a pound or eight tenths of a pound. You can buy Conair WW39 Weight Watchers Digital Glass Weight Scale for about $20.00. Don't move the scale once it is place as when you move the numbers can flucuate.Always keep it in the same place. Take your measurements at the beginning of your weight loss journey. On the weeks you're not losing weight check your measurements again. Chances are that you may not have lost weight but you may have lost inches.
I really regret not taking my measurements. I know I've lost inches but I always wonder how much I've lost.
The scale can make you think you are not losing weight. You may even gain weight as you develop muscle mass. Don't give up! As you develop muscle, the fat will start decreasing. A pound of muscle equals the same as a pound of fat, but muscle is smaller than fat so you might even start to lose inches before you start losing weight.
