Mushrooms contain natural insulin & enzymes that break down starch & sugar in foods. You will benefit from vitamin D, the B vitamins, Iron, Calcium & potassium. Mushrooms are extrememly low calorie, are fat and cholesterol free. Popular choices are Portabella mushroom burgers or mushrooms stuffed with crabmeat, or raw with a dip.
