So I decided to traded white rice for brown rice as a way of being healthy but i had my doubts since a lot of people claim brown rice has no taste. So I decided to use coconut milk to flavor up my brown rice. I can tell you that its delicious and I have never regretted it. Sometimes i add some turmeric for color & flavor or some curry powder. For one cup of brown rice, I use half a can of coconut milk, then a cup & a half of water but simmer the heat (btwn low & medium). If am cooking for more
than 2 people, i use the whole can of coconut milk and 2 cups of water (depending on the amount of rice). I know coconut milk has calories in it so i steam my vegetables. Saves you the calories.
