I am a mindless grazer. So my husband bought me a one of the bite size cup cake pans. I have made muffins and bite size brownies and if I get a sweet tooth I eat just 1. I also keep them hidden so that they are out of sight and out of mind.

Sometimes I get the munchies after dinner. So, instead of eating junk food while watching tv, I postpone dessert for about 1 hour after dinner. I do the dishes, clean up the kitchen, watch a little tv, and it's nearly 8 pm - my usual time for the munchies.
This satisfies my sweet tooth, desserts are portion controlled, and it stops the mindless snacking at night in front of the tv.
