Surprised? Popcorn is good for you as long as you don't cover it with loads of butter. Not to mention that 3 cups of popcorn=1 serving of grain (surprised?)! Instead of butter, try adding popcorn seasoning that you can find in your local grocery store.
You can also use BBQ seasoning (the powder in the shakers). I once found, in the store, a man sampling BBQ seasoning. He was sampling it on popcorn. I tried it, and couldn't believe how tasty it made the popcorn. I bought the seasoning simply so I could put it on popcorn!

Craving a cheesy popcorn snack like Smart Foods White Cheddar Popcorn? Here's a healthier alternative. Pop a bag of 100 calorie popcorn, pour it into a bowl, and top it with 2 tsp. of Cabot's Cheddar Shake Powdered Cheese. It only adds 25 calories and 1g of fat, 1 g of carbs, and 1 g of protein, but has that great cheddar taste and makes for a very satisfying snack.
An 8 oz container of Cabot Cheddar Powder sells for $5.39 and can be purchased online at the Cabot Cheese website or found at many grocery stores.
If you're like me... you love snacking in front of the TV!!! But this mindless eating can be a huge problem. So, buy an Orville Redenbacker's Air-Popped Popcorn machine, some whole popcorn kernels, and then you can have a HUGE bowl of air-popped popcorn to snack on for about 150 calories! And tons better for you than bag or movie theater popcorn. Popcorn seasonings are great too, just watch the sodium content.
