    I'm from Texas and eat hot sauce on almost everything. I've always been told that hot sauce, picante, jalapeņos keep you from gaining weight... but, does anyone know why this works? Is there a science behind it or is it because your mouth gets so hot you just can't finish your meal? Lol

    I agree strongly with adding hot sauce, I found this very useful in losing weight before.

    if you can handle hot sauce, there are cayenne capsules at the health food store. and when you take them you feel a little warmth in your chest. emoticon

    I have heard that hot sauce boosts your metabolism. Wish I could try it but even pepper is too spicy for me! lol
