I leave myself messages on my bathroom and bedroom mirrors. When I'm getting ready in the morning or getting dressed for the day, it helps to see something motivational to focus on and remind me of what I'm working for and how I'm worth the work. I started with something simple like a quote from W. L. Bateman "If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always gotten."
Act like a crazy person...pretend your someone else and talk to yourself
Whenever I'm feeling a bit lackluster, I pretend that I'm someone else - someone that's IS motivated, and then I tell myself everything that I would tell another Sparker who is down and out.
I tell myself that I'm worth it. That it's about the journey and not about the destination.
Well, okay, it IS about the destination, but it's more about learning how to get there so that you can keep on keeing on long after you reach where you want to be. Most importantly, I tell myself that it's okay to make mistakes. The important part of making one is that you learn and grow from it.
