I commute an hour every morning to work. I found that if I skipped breakfast, I would be in the closest drvie through as soon as I hit the city. Now I make a containter of fruit to go with me, and I do it the night before. Peel oranges, clean berries or grapes, and sometimes in the morning I'll add a sliced apple - whatever I can eat as finger food on the road. I often get in 3 fruit servings in the morning, have a fat free yogurt at work, and I'm set!

    I also commute an hour each way! Try drinking a shake. I love the Atkins Advantage with their 15g protein, but SlimFast or a homemade smoothie could work too. After lunching on a healthy meal from home (or a 250 cal microwave meal), I'll go for a short walk or do a few exercises. Nothing too sweaty ;-)

    This is a great idea! I have an hour long commute as well and don't always get up early enough to make breakfast. Today I had a Carnation Instant Breakfast and a banana but the Fruit to Go would have been a better choice!
