If you love pizza, portabello mushrooms is your secret to still having pizza! I take the stems off 2 of largest mushrooms I can
find. I bake them at 400, about 20 minutes. You want all the water to evaporate, if they still seem wet out of the oven, blot them with paper towels. Next, pizza sauce about 1 tsp up to 1 tbsp. Dice finely veg, meat, grate mozzarella. Mix together and pile on caps. Bake til bubbly! yummy!
This works real well, long as it s not still too wet. The mushroom base condenses, becomes like a chewy type crust. This way you can have your pizza guilt free!
