It took years to put on the weight for what ever reason, sickness, health, stress. It doesn't matter. It won't come off overnight. It takes time to heal the body and repair the damage, it is bettter to go at it slow and easy so that you can keep it off and remember that you don't want this happen again, ever.

    This is so true, and something I have to keep reminding myself. Patience is not something I have when I comes to losing weight.

    I have to remember this - and apply it to both weight loss and exercise. It will take time to lose the weight, and it will take time to heal from injuries and regain my prior strength, fitness and flexibility. Thanks for getting me back to this basic concept!
