When we built onto our current home, I insisted on a walk-in pantry. I stock up on sale items and store them by purchase date. Coffee, for example, is said to be going to cost more soon, so I bought 6 bags of our favorite brand today. We'll use that much in 3 months. Get it while it's still "cheap". When I didn't have a pantry, I created one out of a large donated pie safe. A neighbor had shelves built in behind her staircase. Stock up now!

I have a gift for taking leftovers and stuff that I have in the fridge and pantry and creating delicious and easy meals from it. Most people hate to waste food so why do it? If you use a little imagination, you can come up with some great new ideas to use use up what you have on hand.
For example if you have leftover grilled chicken breasts and some peppers and onions in the fridge you can make easy and delicious fajitas with just a few ingredients and spices. Quick, easy amd delicious!
I love salty food! 100 But too much salt (As we all know) is not good for you so I stock my cupboards with tons of spices and herbs so that when I feel that I need more flavor I can go crazy on seasonings without going over on my salt intake!
If you buy a few herbs and/or spices with every shopping trip your pantry will soon be bursting with flavor.
It takes energy to go through all those unused items in your home...which means while you are doing it you are burning calories!...take the items and either have a garage sale or donate them...(included are some suggestions)....which ever you choose, your home will look better and so will you!!:)
