Don't stress yourself about controlling your sugars. Check your sugars often and take more insulin if needed. Denying yourself will only heighten your stress. Have a bite or two and be sensible about what you are doing. Don't stuff yourself and test. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is upon us and pumpkin pie is a favorite dessert. Why not try a heaping tablespoon of canned pumpkin in your hot oatmeal with a little cinnamon and sweetened to your taste with honey.
