On Thanksgiving I made Sweet & Sour Red Cabbage when my neighbor went ewww! I had 10 people for dinner & everyone including my neighbor went for second helpings & were fighting for leftovers to take home. Make the cabbage with diced apples for the sweetness, Heat oil in heavy large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion& apple and sauté until golden, 7 minutes.Add cabbage, vinegar & sweet & low to taste, cook cabbage 10 minutes more & add in Canadian bacon pieces. Great with turkey!

For me as long as I stay flexible with my workouts I stay motivated Let's face it we all have lives that have bumps in the road My life is more of murphy's law What can go wrong will go wrong - For me when my life takes a turn off my main course its just a minor detour. This is the time to go with the flow and make do with what time I have . Life happens don't worry over the bumps in the road.
My plans seems to have to change due to unexpected doctor appointment, family issues and sometimes work related issues, and or just plain life issues
Take smaller bites& chew longer to savor your Thanksgiving dinner as this will aid in digestion & reduce the total number of calories & carbs that can prove to be a problem.. Carb laden food such as potatoes, sweet potatoes & stuffing should be eaten in small amounts. Stay away from candied sweet potatoes. Take a walk after dinner or help with the dishes. Work off some calories.
