Many people are not aware that simply cutting your salt intake can cause you to lessen your sugar cravings.Canned vegetables have sodium, bottled salad dressings have high sodium content.Make your own vinegar and oil dressing. Cereal contains as much as 1,000 mg of sodium a serving. Keep in mind that even a mild dehydration will cause your body to crave for both salt and sugar. Drink lots of water.

    I never knew there was a connection between sugar and salt but it seems to be the case when my cravings start...thank you for this info!
