Keep Moving To Keep Moving

A year ago my arthritic knees had gotten so bad I was barely walking. It was a vicious circle, it hurt to move so I stopped moving which made my joints worse so I moved even less. The doctor recommended a round of physical therapy and regular pool exercise which got me moving again. I still have pain but I can walk and move normally through daily activities again. The lesson I finally learned is to keep moving to keep moving, especially when you don't feel like it!

    This is really great advice, which I am finding to be true since I am currently recovering from post-arthroscopic surgery from a torn cartilage. The more I sit and don't move the worse I feel. So I have started taking Pilates & returned to the gym.
