Between meal snacking, to the surprise of many diabetics, is encouraged! Healthy choices such as nuts, small pieces of fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese, will help to maintain glucose levels and speed up the body’s metabolism. Eat Small, Eat Often! The body does much better eating smaller amounts of food, more often throughout the day. It's easier on the intestines, the pancreas, and the digestive enzymes.
