If you are surrounded by mounds of clutter it's time to ask yourself why? When I started to lose weight something profound happened to me. Not only was I losing pounds by simplying my menu, but I wanted to simplify my life. Accumulating things to dust is not only not healthy, but someone else can use what I dont need. The older I get the less I need or want. Materialistic things mean nothing, only health matters!

I find that if I tidy up around me, keep at the dishes, and vacuum the house, I feel better, emotionally, and am better able to function. You can literally 'see your way clear' to other projects and tend to feel less overwhelmed.
