You probably receive hundreds of return address labels in the mail. (I had enough to wallpaper a large room.) While watching TV, I cut my name and address off the labels and then give the remaining images to children in my family or leave them in the break room at work for others to take home. I keep ones I think won't interest them, but pass on images of flags, animals, flowers, and other colorful designs to the kids.

I use them when I have to fill out a form or raffle ticket or something that can be redundant with my name and address...

I resented those 'free' labels so much I took the time to get off those mailing lists. I use a 'stamp' for our return address... much nicer than having to peel & stick or even lick the stamp.

I also save the designs from address labels. I work with children and once or twice a year, I bring out my bag of label designs, any other stickers that arrive in the mail and markers. I let children decorate paper shapes or paper plate wreathes. They love it.

What a great idea! I'm going to pack some in zip bags so the grands can take them on road trips.

Don't buy envelopes, use the ones you get in the mail
Instead of buying envelopes, I use the ones that I get in junk mail and bills (I pay online, so I don't need the envelopes). I put the address labels I get from companies who want me to buy stuff or donate money over the return address. If there's a clear window or address printed in the "mail to" area of the envelope, I cover it with a piece of paper taped or glued in place and put the correct address on it.
I use address labels to label portion sized containers with nutritional information. 17
MORE INFORMATION:
I package portion size containers of food, like left over Turkey from Christmas. Then in the computer I copy (Ctrl + C) the nutritional information from the data base. Then I open an address label template in Word and paste (Ctrl + P) the information into as many labels as I need.
