I have found a wonderful recipe for oatmeal that gives me more volume for the same 1/2 of dry oatmeal. I add it to a cup of tea, 1/2 c. of skim milk and add cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom to taste. Takes a little longer to cook up, but makes a very satisfying and healthy bowlful. Add fruit it you like.

Removing excess calories from my snacks, meals and drinks
My husband and I love cake. I only frost half the cake, so I can eat it frostless. When we have tacos, I skip the shells. I drink 8 oz of cranberry juice daily for kidney health, I drink the lite juice.
Satisfy that chocolate craving without the excess calories.
My girlfriend clued me in on freezing a bag of the Ghiradelli 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chips. Just eat 3, maybe 6. The benefit of dark chocolate and it's best to just let these dissolve for a while in your mouth, otherwise you can crack your teeth!
My new trick for NOT testing my baking too much is...I watch a weight loss show while I'm busy in the kitchen. I had to make a wedding cake yesterday and while I was icing it I was watching 'Last 10 pounds Boot Camp'. That stopped me from licking my fingers and the bowl too much!! 475344
