When Needing A Snack, I Look For Protein!

I have to snack. My body requires it as I have to keep my blood sugar at an even keel throughout the day or I will go into starvation mode for eating and then being ravenously hungry,will "wolf "the food down,stopping my hunger pangs and starting my Hiatal Hernia a-going and then I am going to need the Tums. So, when I need to snack {and I snack when I feel a little hungry}, I go look for PROTEIN! I never get enough of it in my diet and so I have discovered that I can eat it as a snack ...

in the form of Dark Cocoa Almonds{27} by Emerald, or black bean soup or even canned black beans.1/2 a glass of Chocolate Silk SOY Milk{light} or 1/2 a cup of cottage cheese {Knudsen 2%~I don't like any less than that!}fills me up and gives me the protein I need! All of these are 150 cals or less.

    Veg and protein is my favort snack.It keeps my blood sugar up also.. emoticon
