We all have our favorite T.V. shows, but we don't have to grow roots into the couch to enjoy the show! Get up and do something during the commercial. Pacing is good, or a small amount of aerobic exercising if you have the room.
You don't have to do a lot to have a big effect on your fitness level: a little really can go a long way.

If you have older kids explain to them about one of the goals in your new healthy lifestyle is to get exercising. Give them a job of getting your moving. Tell them you will give any idea they come up with a try as long as they are doing it with you.
