Just half a teaspoon of cinnamon a day significantly reduces blood sugar levels in diabetics. Soak a cinnamon Stick in your tea or take a 500MG of Cinnamon pill.Cinnamon's essential oils also qualify it as an "anti-microbial" food, and cinnamon has been studied for its ability to help stop the growth of bacteria as well as fungi, including the problematic yeast Candida. It works for me!!

    I make a steel cut oatmeal in the crock pot for the week. I add a teaspoon of cinnamon to the mix and of cause have this for breakfast during the week. I also add nut and berries after cooking.

If you use 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon a day, what do you use it in?

    I just wanted to say thank you for the info on cinnamon & that i would like to try implementing it more in my healthy choice of eating. emoticon
