Chia seeds are a great addition to any meal. They expand to take up the space that those extra calories would go. when I am having a bad craving or just dont feel as satisfied I put 2 Tbs in 8 to 10 oz glass of water and add some lemon juice or mix them into a scoop of my chocolate protien shake, it works every time!
This amazing seed also is a great source for your Omega-3's, fiber, protien, Iron calcium and even 3x the anioxidants of blueberries!

So this is probably a no-brainer for most people, but for me it was a revelation yesterday. I went through four glasses of water with my supper simply by taking one bite of food and then one sip of water. I hate water, so this was a major deal! I'm also not used to drinking anything with my meal; I prefer to save it for the end. But I found not only did I get the water down, but it wasn't so bad since I knew I could have a bite of something tasty right after my one sip.
Another 'benefit' of this method is that you feel full faster, so you may eat less for a meal too.
