The Flour in the pasta makes your blood sugar spike, so even wheat pasta can raise you sugar. Simple sugars like ice cream, candy & the like will raise your blood sugar in about 15 minutes. Starches usually take about an hour or two. Neither rise is any better for your body than the other. Try to avoid pasta or try Dreamfield's pasta.

I checked out a box of Dreamland pasta at the store the other day and compared it to the store brand I usually buy. the amount of carbs were the same, so I went with the cheaper store brand I usually get. Is there something special about Dreamland pasta that I'm missing? I'd be interested in knowing the difference.
