Special K Cracker Chips

These chips are delicious and a decent calorie count for a snack. Thirty cracker chips are a total of 110 calories. They may be a little high in the sodium department, but I love salty snacks much more than sweet ones. If I have anything bad to say about them it's that they are addicting. They are just great for that 9 p.m. desire for a snack. emoticon

These cracker chips are vailable at most grocery stores and CVS.

they are delicious. Great way to satisfy the craving for something crunchy and salty. Keeps me out of the peanut butter crackers emoticon

I also love these crackers. I keep them in my truck with me, so if I find myself out running my errands and get hungry, I grab a handful. It prevents me from hitting the fast food drive thru's!

My friend and I are "Spark-people" and sometimes we get together to cook together and even try out receipts. We started using the cracker chips when we make salmon patties instead of crackers. Lots less calories, and it works great. Salmon, Kellogg cracker chips, egg beaters, and fry them in pan with Pam. Can still make creamed peas, and we took 1/2 serving of tater tots mashed in the skillet to serve like fried potatoes. Yum.

I just discovered them too and I truly love them! They are so awesome with a few tablespoons of low fat cream cheese, alouette cheese spread or even hummus. I was so skeptical when I read the nutritional count, but they did it! Awesome!
