To quickly chop up small items for a snack or meal like cherry tomatoes or grapes take 2 lids from tupperware or the plastic take-out soup containers and place on face down on the counter, place tomatoes in the top, then turn over the other lid on top of the tomatoes and slide between the lids (keep fingers out of the way!). It works great and gets the job done quickly, and will reduce any choking hazard for little kids!
