When I first started to loose weight, I was unable to walk very far. I kept repeating to myself as I walked "Every Step Is A Healing Step". Today I am 70 lbs lighter and 1/2 way towards reaching my goal.
I started walking because I was diagnosed with diabetes. I did not use any equipment, although walking with friends is always a big plus! Today, I do not take any medication for my diabetes. It is controlled with diet and exercise alone.
