Garbanzo's are a good source of folic acid, fiber, protein & manganese. Garbanzo beans can help lower cholesterol and improve blood sugar levels. Any one with kidney stones should avoid them. Good in salads, Baked with cinnamon or feta, or eat plain like popcorn. Count your carbs as these are high in carbs, but remember garbanzo beans improve blood sugar regulation 1/2 cup of garbanzo can give you better control in less than a week
Wash and drain chickpeas in a colander and pat them dry, spread on a cookie sheet sprinkle with olive oil, paprika and seasame seeds or just cinnamon. Bake 30 minutes
