For easy peeling of tomatoes simply penetrate the skin of the tomato with a knife to make a "x" then add the tomato to boiling water and watch for when the skin peels back or spreads in a stretchmark-like manner!

X marks the spot, add the circle (tomato) to the pot!

    Yes the skins of many vegetables are VERY nutritious. This tip is for those who prefer not to eat them. It is more of a choice of preference!

    It's not you, it's folks who keep talking about having to peel veg. Don't the skins hold lots of vitamins and/or minerals? I am still a baby in Spark terms, and there are so many things to learn. Some things confuse or baffle me.
