i often find myself with a weeks load a laundry and a kitchen that looks like a twister blew through it. setting a weekly chore list, (just like for our kids) helps keep my house looking kept and clean. monday's bathroom, tuesdays, bedroom, etc. timing myself gets it done 10x's faster and its a good workout

Every month dig through your sock box- cut open the ones that don't have a match, or that are too worn to wear- our household use- cleaning! I don't feel as guilty throwing it away if I get it too soiled. We also was and reuse for cleaning until they just fall apart.

Wash with a bleach-detergent solution. Black or gray mildew spots on wooden frames can be cleaned for good with a solution of 2 ounces (60 milliliters) of household bleach & 1 ounce (30 milliliters)of laundry detergent in a quart of water. Wearing rubber gloves to protect your hands, sponge the solution on the spots, let it sit for ten minutes, & then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
