When I miss a morning of excercise and that day turns into a week and then a month (or more!), it is so hard to get back to the gym! Setting the alarm doesn't work. I just feel so tired. So what I do is I sleep in my work out clothes and pack my bag for work and get my work clothes all ironed and ready for the next day. Then when the alarm goes off, all I have to do it grab my car keys and go.

Get a great start on the day by working out in the morning! I'm not a morning person but after 6 weeks of pushing myself to get up an hour earlier than I normally would, getting to the gym and having a great workout, I find myself waking up early and wanting to get to the gym. It makes me feel good throughout the day, I'm burning fat calories faster and I don't have to worry about things coming up in the afternoon that will interfere with my workout time. 244
To ward off the temptation to skip the gym (I get up @ 4:30 a.m. to go work out) I pack my gym bag and lunch the night before and pile my stuff next to the door so I can quickly grab them in the morning. I also lay out my workout clothes so all I have to do is put them on and Iím on my way. Being prepared at night makes me feel that there is no excuse in the morning to roll over and go back to sleep.
