Getting Back To The Gym - Morning Workouts

When I miss a morning of excercise and that day turns into a week and then a month (or more!), it is so hard to get back to the gym! Setting the alarm doesn't work. I just feel so tired. So what I do is I sleep in my work out clothes and pack my bag for work and get my work clothes all ironed and ready for the next day. Then when the alarm goes off, all I have to do it grab my car keys and go.

    Glad to hear it is not just me to get up and go. My other problem is that I think I have S.A.D. because as the weather and the light changes all I want to do is curl up in bed.! emoticon

    This is how I have always got back on track but this time around it isn't as easy emoticon . My problem is I live in Michigan and once the weather changes leaving your warm bed at 5 am to go outside brush snow off car then turn it on go back inside wait for enough to melt off windsheild you can drive then head out. Last year twice I fell back a sleep on couch for 4 hours with car running and was late for work!!!! this time I hope the weather here will hold off till me and the dogs get back in habit. . . . Their potty time is a go way to get woke up you know if you don't get out of bed you will regret it!!!!

    I think next week I am going to try that. I am up to trying anything. That sounds like that might be something that I could begin to be a regular habit for me.
