Instead of scrubbing the stuck on food off the inside of the microwave, try this. Get a 2 cup Pyrex glass and add about 1 to 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and then fill the cup with water. Place inside microwave and boil on high for 10 minutes, The lemon juice will steam the inside of the microwave and the food will wipe right off with a damp sponge, no scrubbing!
And the inside will smell great too, I do it once a week and it is a cheap way to clean and deordorize the microwave!
If you have a dirty microwave and everything you put in it blew up and now you have a tough mess to clean. Simply cut a lemon in 1/2 and put it in a bowl with some water and microwave for 2-3mins. The steam will loosen the mess and the lemon leaves it smelling wonderfully. Easy to clean no chemicals to smell.
Harness the power of citrus to clean your microwave: Cut a lemon in half, squeeze juice into a small bowl of water, add both lemon halves and place in the microwave for five minutes. The fresh scent eliminates cooking odors, and condensation from the steam loosens random splatters that have hardened. Wipe with a damp cloth. 432
