I ususally have an excuse about not riding stationary/exercise rower bike because my sons are watching the big screen with their shows and my bike is right there next to it. So, I have asked my sons and hubby to let me have a good one hour to exercise and watch my shows that keep my mind off the exercising that makes it easier for me. They all now support "My 1 hour Exercise Time' and infact encourage me to do my hour so they can have their big screen time back!48
Motion Is The Potion! It Really Is The Majic Bullet!
The secret isn't in how much you exercise or how hard. It's about all the time you spend in motion! Get up and move every 20 mintues all day long & in between commercials! Walk more & swing your arms, fidget, enjoy rocking in a rocking chair, do the twist, march, do easy shadow boxing. Just keep moving BECAUSE IT REALLY WORKS! I've lost another 10 lbs since I start doing this.
I collect rocks when I go on nature walks & always have a little rock with me through the day. Whenever I touch the rock in my pocket, I think of something that I'm grateful for. It helps me to stay focused on the positive things in my life.
I use this activity for my classroom as well. We do it at the beginning of the year as a Health activity.
