I have been on Sparkpeople since 2008 and I rarely miss a day coming on here and getting mysparkpoints and looking around. I will lose a little than gain it back, but if I didnt have them in my life I know I would be so much bigger than I am now. Maybe to some of you this isnt a success but it is to me. I never quit trying and this is because of Sparkpeople!

I was dealing with Anorexia for years, which turned into Bulimia. I have been trying to get my eating habits back on track. Thanks to Sparkpeople, I am slowly learning to do this, and am not struggling as much. I am not in danger anymore, and I realize how many people out there are dealing with the same issue. Going Out to Eat - Being Aware is being Prepared for Success!
If I am going out to eat for lunch or dinner, I pull up the restaurant online first to review the menu and nutrition values. If it is not online, I arrive 10 minutes earlier than my lunch appt and ask for the nutritional sheet (they are required to have one available) and make my decision before my friends arrive.
If my friends ask me why I am asking for this nutrition sheet...that is a great time to share with them the SparkPeople website and how much it has helped me be more aware of my daily intake and desire to get to where I want to be health wise. Thank you SparkPeople!!!
