Staying Within The Calorie Range

My calorie range is 1200-1550. To make sure I stay within 1500 calories I try everyday to average 1400 calories, that way if I have made a mistake with measurement or portioning or anything else hopefully that 100 calories will cover it.

    That is a wonderful idea.and do you find counting calories is the best way to go with weight loss?I hear so many for and against.

    hi i to am on 1500 calories a day but i feel this is too much for me as i find it hard to lose weight due to illnesses pcos and underactive thyroid and now im on iron and slow metabolism have not lost any weight for the 6 weeks ive been on the iron. so i have decided to stick to 1200 a day and if i have any ooops days or meals which will be few!!!! then i dont need to be so hard on myself. good luck

    Your SP calorie range is the exact same as mine and I do the same thing that you do, aim for approximately 1400 daily. This way I have coverage for the "oops" factor.
