I have been trying to cut back on added sugar which hampers my ice-cream options. What I do now is mix 1/2 cup Breyer's no sugar added Vanilla ice cream with 1/2 cup of frozen fruits and a tbsp of wheat germ. I mix with a spoon, and I enjoy a sorbet-like treat.

Sometimes I put the fruits in water for 1-2 minutes to thaw out a bit. It mixes well.
