Going for 25 Spark points each day helps me stay positive and focussed. I feel good when I get that bonus, no matter how many points it is. Chasing points has led me to parts of SP that I wouldn't have found otherwise. Plus I participate in ways I wouldn't have thought I would enjoy.

I eat oatmeal every day, and I'm losing weight! Bonus: my cholesterol has dropped 10 points!
I use whole grain oatmeal: 1/2 c. oatmeal, 3/4 c. water, raisins (1 or 2 T). Cook 2 min. in the microwave (oatmeal likes to overflow, so use a large bowl). When done, add 1/4 c. milk and 1 or 2 tsp. honey. A small banana or apple mid-morning, and I'm not starved the rest of the day.
I never put anything on my credit card that I can't pay off when the bill comes in. I like to use it for all my purchases as I get points that I save and I use the points to purchase gift cards for the kids and grandkids at Christmas. That saves me from having to come up with extra $$$$ to buy the gift cards every year.
Several times a year, my credit card company offers bonus points in several categories and I always take advantage of that.
I sit at my desk for long periods of time so I keep a drawer full of healthy snacks like dried fruit, peanut butter and rice cakes, nuts and low-sugar natural granola bars so I don't feel tempted to break into the junk food available.
Bonus points for packing snacks (like trail mix) in single-serving size portion snack baggies so there's no guessing.
