We needed to have rain all summer but now we are having it really heavy and things in the garden are at the final ripening stage. With all this rain I am going to loose most of the tomatoes and other things because they will rot. DGD is here and each day it is an if, if we will swim. She has so far and I have some but since it is get in quick and when I say out move I stay out and read. I can get in anytime but she can't. She has had fun staying with me. Time flies so it is our time now. Smile

I love working with flowers and gardening but this year I have lost so much and no way to stop it. Between having no rain for weeks and trying to water which is not the same. Then we get days of rain after I have watered so you don't know what too do. 5 days of rain and we get non, then I water 2 days of rain at 30 % which is nothing and we get a down pour. I have lost flowers fruits and veggies which I hate. I could not be a farmer but I will try again next year but change things a little.
Water the garden do I or don't I , promised rain 4 days all passed not rain so water. That has been all summer but they promised rain and between yesterday and today 2 & 2/10 inches and more rain to come. Problem is the garden and fields have suffered and produce is not growing well. Catch 22. smile
