We all have bad days and bad moods, but I truly believe that we can choose our reaction and, in so doing, direct our emotions. We can choose to brood and stay in our funk. Or we can find something positive to focus on and improve our mood.
Determine if my selection has a healthy nutritional valve or worth me eating. If I choose an unhealthy item - it must be small portions and eaten on a rare occasion.
In addition, I drink atleast 8 ounces of water and wait 15 minutes prior to consuming the item. This triggers a reaction the brain that will signal you are eating which allows one to consume less of the item. Thus satisfaction is reached prior to over consuming the item.
