More cholesterol is produced from eating sugar than from eating fat. Although the liver produces cholesterol, the intestines also play an important part in determining overall cholesterol levels. Eat Omega 3's which will bring down your triglycerides as well as bring down the LDL cholesterol and help actually raise your HDL cholesterol, or your good cholesterols.
