_Always_ pack 'road food'-- keep a little cooler in the car. Use a freeze pack. Pack homemade juice boxes, small bags of fresh veggies, sandwiches (never ones with mayo) and anything else your family will eat. Even with dollar menus, one visit to McD's for four people can run six to ten dollars.

Excellent idea, my hubby and I do this, nice fresh fruit a sandwich,,drinks it is so much better than the greasy fast foods!

STOP Mourning food, note to self
No, not, morning food. Lol. I have chosen to stop mourning over food, particularly sweets. It was the mental road I used to travel and it sabotaged every effort. I'm just starting on the road, AGAIN, but I finally feel like a success figuring that emotion out!
