Whenever I'm stressed out and close to losing it, I think about something I was once told. We all carry the ocean within us, and to hear the soothing sounds of the sea all we have to do is close our eyes and slowly breathe in...breathe out...breathe in...breathe out. If you focus hard enough, it sounds like waves rolling into shore and back out again. Hold the sounds and the image of the seashore in your mind for a full count of ten complete breaths and you'll relax in just a handful of seconds.

When things get stressful and tense. I go outside and imagine myself as the ocean. Feeling the air around me, I try to remember what it was like swimming in the ocean on vacation. I tell myself I am calm, I am relax, ever changing but always strong.
