Whenever I'm stressed out and close to losing it, I think about something I was once told. We all carry the ocean within us, and to hear the soothing sounds of the sea all we have to do is close our eyes and slowly breathe in...breathe out...breathe in...breathe out. If you focus hard enough, it sounds like waves rolling into shore and back out again. Hold the sounds and the image of the seashore in your mind for a full count of ten complete breaths and you'll relax in just a handful of seconds.

I'm in therapy and breathing practice is a huge part of it.. but I have such a hard time not allowing my thoughts to wander to other things. This suggestion is awesome, especially because the ocean is my zen place! Fantastic idea, thank you so much for sharing.
