Secrets of Success

My Secret - Praying For Motivation

I pray to keep motivated and keep eating healthy everyday. I need to stay on track and become a healthier person and to loose the unwanted weight I have gained over the years. First thru childbirth, later divorce and gaining weight by emotional upsets or boredom.

  • I pray every night that I will stay motivated and on track too. Prayer is a very powerful thing!! - by OVERIT10
  • Prayer is definitely a motivator for me as well as trying to keep up to date with every tracker that I engage in with Spark People. I read daily Success Stories and books that are inspirational for my weight watching. My latest book is the Dieter's Prayer book. - by OTHERRIEN1
  • I can totally attribute my change in attitude, motivation and willpower to prayer. I have made it a point to pray daily for strength and will power to continue my 2.5 week success (this is the longest I have EVER gone in my life). I have totally surrendered that I can't do this on my own and pray for Divine assistance and guidance. Somehow, somewhere things "clicked" for me and I know it's not coincidence that it happened to take place after I started praying for help. Sit next to my daughter as she ate fast food fries and not have one? Not eat half the bag of hersheys kisses that have been in my cabinet for over 2 weeks? IMPOSSIBLE that I was able to do this without a little higher-power help...If you are inclined to, pray for help and assistance to have the will power and motivation to continue on your path to well-being and success! May your prayers be answered...good luck all! emoticon - by ALLTHINGSOCEAN
