Use roasted garlic instead of butter! Great way to add flavour using less fat and calories! Great on sandwiches, on baked potatoes and grilled cheese sanwiches (on the inside, not the outside). I add this to mashed potatoes, hummus and corn on the cob. Let's just say I try to slather anything I can with this garlicky goodness! LOL
To make roasted garlic... Cut top off garlic bulb. Pour over about 1 tsp olive oil and a tiny pinch of salt. Wrap in foil. Bake in oven about 45 mins at 400 degrees. Garlic will be ready when cloves are browned and soft. ENJOY!

Use ground turkey instead of ground beef. Mash potatoes, use fat-free milk instead of whole milk & trans-fat-free margarine instead of butter. Mash steamed cauliflower into your potatoes. Steam green beans & season with a little curry & pepper, then top with a few slivered almonds instead of butter, or do a stir fry with any combination of green beans, broccoli, carrots, zucchini, onion, snow peas, red, yellow, green peppers, baby corn and then sauté in low-sodium soy sauce with garlic. Enjoy
Take a bulb of garlic (or more!) and roast them in the oven for an hour at 350 degrees. Then add some black pepper and puree. Use this everywhere you would use another spread - use it to replace butter, mayo, or peanut butter.
