I have added some goals to track every day using the "track other goals" link off of the Spark Points page. This helps remind me to do these things every day, and it makes me feel disappointed in myself and resolving to do better the next day if I don't complete all of these goals on every day that it is reasonable to complete them. On the days I do complete all my goals, it really makes me feel good to see those points adding up.
Staying on track, by using the Nutrition Tracker EVERY day, is an avoidance technique for me. If you never get "off track" there's no need to "get back on". This past eight weeks of holiday parties and lots of tempting treats show results on my nutrition tracker were often NOT within my goals, but I've been ON Track every day! Now, I'm focusing on GOALS once again . . . quite happily and successfully!
The only thing I have been successful in the last few months (year) is basically maintenance. When I track, even if it is just food, I lose. My goal this year isn't so much losing (although it would be sweet if I won my friends fitness challenge) it is to track every day!
